24 MILLION people, roughly 80% of the population are on the brink of famine and Yemen’s water shortage in the worst of all countries in the Middle East. The water availability per capita is the lowest in the region, possibly even the world.
Women and children travel up to 3 miles to access water and carry around 20 litres in their hands or on their head on the journey home.
High outbreaks of Cholera in the country are exacerbated by the lack of clean water with the added problem of COVID-19 to deal with this year.
Grant the gift of water to those in need through your generous donations to enable the installation of water pumps which can benefit approximately thousands of people.
We guarantee 100% of your donations will reach their intended target. The charity operates on a voluntary basis ensuring our costs are kept to a minimum. The set-up, operating, admin and marketing costs are met by the trustees, supporters and some from the gift aid contributions.
